This Privacy Policy explains how Framework Ventures LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information through this website (frameworkventures.org) and through StyleIQ, our booking and shop-management platform for barbers and barbershops, including its websites and mobile apps (together, the "Services").

Information we collect
Information you give us
Shop owners and staff: name, email address, phone number, business name and address, services and prices, working hours, and account login details.
Clients who book appointments: name, email address, mobile phone number (optional), appointment details, notes, and any reference photos or links you choose to share with your barber.
Payments: card payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; we receive limited details such as card brand, last four digits and payment status.
Messages and calls: the content of text messages you send to a shop's StyleIQ number, and, if a shop uses the StyleIQ phone assistant, information from calls to that shop's number needed to handle your request.
Support requests: information you send us when you contact us.
Information collected automatically
device and browser information, IP address, pages visited and actions taken, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy);
error and performance diagnostics.
How we use information
to provide the Services: create and manage bookings, show appointments to the shop, send confirmations, reminders and updates, and process payments;
to send text messages you have agreed to receive (see our SMS Terms);
to operate optional AI features a shop enables, such as booking assistance and style suggestions;
to secure the Services, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems;
to provide support and communicate with you about your account;
to comply with law.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we share information
With the shop you book with, which receives your booking details and contact information to provide your appointment.
With service providers that process information for us under contract, including payment processing (Stripe), text messaging and voice (Twilio), AI processing (OpenAI), cloud hosting and file storage, email delivery, and error monitoring. They may use it only to provide services to us.
For legal reasons, when required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.
In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Text messaging: we do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver messages on our behalf.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business and legal purposes, such as records of bookings, payments and messaging consent. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing admin@frameworkventures.org. If you booked with a shop, we may coordinate with that shop.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, such as the right to know what we collect and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We will respond to verified requests as required by law.
You can control cookies through your browser and our cookie banner.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A parent or guardian may book on behalf of a child.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date.
